1. What BuzzerPicks Is

BuzzerPicks is a sports prediction tracking and scoring software platform. We provide tools that allow commissioners to create leagues, participants to submit game score predictions, and all parties to view standings and scoring results.

BuzzerPicks is not a gambling operator, bookmaker, or wagering service. We do not accept, hold, process, or distribute any wagering funds, entry fees, or prize money. All monetary transactions among participants are conducted entirely outside the Platform, between participants and commissioners directly.

2. Platform Fee

Commissioners pay a one-time software activation fee per league season. This fee is charged solely for access to the BuzzerPicks scoring and tracking software. It is not a rake, commission, or percentage of any prize pool. No portion of participant buy-ins or prize pools passes through BuzzerPicks.

3. Commissioner Responsibilities

Commissioners are solely responsible for:

• Collecting and distributing participant buy-ins and prizes outside of this Platform
• Ensuring their league operates in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Communicating rules, payout structures, and any changes to participants
• Resolving any disputes among participants regarding money or scoring

Prize distribution amounts displayed on the Platform are calculated estimates based on commissioner-configured parameters. They are provided for informational and tracking purposes only. BuzzerPicks makes no guarantee that any displayed amount will be paid by any party.

4. User Responsibilities and Eligibility

By using BuzzerPicks you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• Participation in prediction pools of this nature is legal in your jurisdiction
• You are not accessing the Platform from a jurisdiction where such activity is prohibited
• You accept sole responsibility for determining the legality of your participation

BuzzerPicks does not represent or warrant that use of the Platform is lawful in any particular jurisdiction. If you are unsure whether participating in a sports prediction pool is legal where you reside, you should seek legal advice before participating.

5. No Guarantee of Winnings

BuzzerPicks provides a scoring and standings display only. We make no guarantee, representation, or warranty regarding any prize, payout, or winnings. All prize obligations rest solely with the commissioner of each league.

6. Account and Data

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. Your email is used to authenticate your account, associate your picks with your entry, and send you a confirmation of your submissions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software on the Platform is owned by BuzzerPicks and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuzzerPicks and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or any prizes expected but not received from a commissioner.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
